As a member of scientific communities such as the Swiss Group for Clinical Cancer Research (SAKK), the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC), the European Thoracic Oncology Platform (ETOP) and others, we also offer experimental treatments within national and international clinical studies. Our staff perform and accompany simultaneous chemo- or radiation therapies at the Institute of Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine at the Hirslanden Clinic.
OUT-PATIENT CARE
We treat patients of all insurance classes suffering from oncological or blood diseases, using our diagnostic findings to compile the best possible therapeutic strategy in our interdisciplinary Tumour Boards with diverse specialists. Treatments are performed according to international guidelines using state-of-the-art methods. Our experienced nursing team accompanies you individually and with empathy during out-patient therapy. If needed, we offer additional comprehensive care in psycho-oncology, complementary medicine, nutrition counselling and genetics.
IN-PATIENT CARE
For extensive diagnostic evaluations, complex treatments lasting several days, in the event of severe complications, or where at-home care is not possible, our patients of all insurance classes can receive in-patient care in the Hirslanden Clinic. During hospitalisation, your medical team from the Clinic for Haematology & Oncology Hirslanden Zurich will continue to treat you, ensuring full continuity of medical treatment and care. If needed, our attending doctors in psycho-oncology, complementary medicine, nutrition counselling and genetics can be called at anytime.
