We frequently conduct bone marrow examinations in patients with blood or haemato-oncological diseases. For radiological analyses, we enable quick referrals to the Institute of Radiology in the Clinic for Haematology & Oncology Hirslanden Zurich. Interdisciplinary Tumour Boards with internal and external specialists from all medical fields take place at Clinic for Haematology & Oncology Hirslanden Zurich several times per week.
TUMOUR BOARD
Our Tumour Board is a weekly meeting in which patients with oncological and haematological (blood) diseases are discussed in order to get a comprehensive view of their medical condition and to compile an evidence-based diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedure. Specialists from all relevant medical fields are present, including medical oncology, haematology, radio-oncology, pathology, visceral and thoracic surgery, gynaecology, urology, ENT, neurosurgery, pneumology, gastroenterology, nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology as well as other areas if necessary. General practitioners and referring physicians are also welcome.
